A Title 24 compliant wall light means that the fixture meets energy efficiency standards set by California's Energy Commission. The California Energy Efficiency Standards for Residential and Nonresidential Buildings were established in the late 1970s to help reduce California's energy consumption. The standards are followed by othere states as well, and are updated periodically to cover new energy efficiency technologies and methods.Title 24 compliant wall lights are energy efficient, energy saviung designs, and often use CFL bulbs. They are a great way to save energy and lower your electric bill!
